Archon is powered by volunteers. Every year, dedicated fans help bring the convention to life, creating a welcoming, organized, and fun experience for thousands of attendees.
Volunteering is a great way to meet people, get involved behind the scenes, and contribute to the success of the convention.
What Do Volunteers Do?
Volunteers assist with a wide variety of tasks throughout the convention. Assignments may vary based on need and availability.
- Assisting Guests of Honor or special guests
- Helping attendees navigate between locations
- Monitoring secured or restricted access areas
- Supporting crowd management at major events like the Masquerade
- Running errands or delivering materials between venues
- Providing general assistance where needed
Whether you have a specific interest or just want to help wherever needed, there is a place for you on the team.
Volunteer Benefits
As a thank-you for your time, volunteers earn reimbursement toward their Archon membership.
- Earn $10 per hour of volunteer time
- Up to 80% of your membership cost may be reimbursed
Volunteering is a great way to offset your membership cost while being part of the convention team.
What to Expect
Volunteer shifts are scheduled throughout the weekend and are designed to fit around your convention experience as much as possible.
No prior experience is required—just a willingness to help, a positive attitude, and a commitment to your assigned shifts.
