Children’s Programming
Fun for Younger Fans
Archon’s Children’s Programming offers activities for kids, teens, and fans who are young at heart. Throughout the weekend, younger attendees can enjoy hands-on projects, creative events, and opportunities to participate in the convention in their own way.
Many activities are designed so participants can take home something they’ve created, making Children’s Programming a fun and memorable part of the Archon experience.
What to Expect
Children’s Programming includes a variety of activities throughout the weekend, focused on creativity, participation, and fun.
- Hands-on activities and crafts
- Creative panels and workshops
- Costume events for children and teens
- Opportunities to make something and take it home
Popular Activities
One of the most popular activities is Boffer Sword Making, where participants can create a foam sword and learn basic techniques in a safe, supervised setting.
Children’s Programming also features a children’s costume extravaganza, giving younger fans a chance to show off their costumes. Teens ages 13–17 can also participate in the Teen Cosplay Contest.
A Note for Parents and Guardians
Parents and guardians are encouraged to stay and participate alongside their children. Children’s Programming is designed as a shared experience for families to enjoy together.
While our volunteers provide a welcoming and engaging environment, children remain under the supervision of their parent or guardian during all activities.
