Update:
Now that we are getting closer to the weekend of Archon, hopefully some of you are planning on having some room parties! If so, we need to know about that party so that we can get your room into the party block at the Hotel Doubletree . If you do not notify us BEFORE THE CONVENTION, we cannot guarantee there will be a room available in the party block! The party block is located just down the hallway from the dance and Hospitality rooms.  No Archon room parties are authorized outside of the Party Room Block.  (Some people need to get their sleep!  ...Muggles.) 

All the Archon Room parties are on the ground floor of the DoubleTree Hotel, our main hotel. If you are planning on hosting a Room Party at Archon, please let us know so that we can make sure your room is on the party floor.

Here's what you need to do:
1)  Make your room reservation for the DoubleTree Hotel.  Please request that your room be reserved on the first floor. 
2)  Then contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , and let us know what name(s) the room is reserved under. We will make every attempt to ensure your reservation is correct before the con and see what we can do to help make your party great!

Remember, the local constabulary will be about enforcing the King's Peace.

When hosting a party, you will be required to read and sign a form acknowledging you understand the convention/hotel damage policy, and that you will comply with it before you can host an party.  We want EVERYONE to have a great time at Archon. We encourage you to drink responsibly and be courteous to your fellow conventioneers.

As it has always been in the past and always will be, behavior which jeopardizes the convention goers will NOT be tolerated and you will be removed from the facilities. No exceptions.  Anyone under the age of 21, who's been drinking alcohol will be removed from the convention.  Illinois State Minor In Possession Law applies to consumption as well as being in physical possession of alcohol.  If your under 21, you are NOT allowed to drink alcoholic beverages at Archon.  If you're over 21 and you're found giving alcohol to anyone under 21, you will be removed as well.
